Ok so here’s a somewhat professional review (Not 100% but about 55)

The chord progression at the beginning is nice but gets very repetitive. I do really like the bass pattern. But it’s ends to quickly. The vocals are good. Both drops have interesting sound design. But the best pattern makes it not at all Brostep like. It’s more like riddim. You know how I feel about riddim too. Try to keep in mind that Brostep drum pattern has some breaks in it and not a long repetitive drum pattern.

In short, make it less repetitive, the second game art seems like a copy paste of the first. But you got the right idea, and I see a lot of potential in you.

itsmevxrto responds:

I would keep that in mind.
Thanks tho.

Can U by any chance tell me how you recorded those vocals

Thanks

I use a t.bone SC450, I record, then I send it to an Audio Interface (I got one from Xenyx, I don't know the model tho), then this gets sent to my Laptop via cable and soundcard and then into Audacity, where I denoise my recordings.
Boom, done.

This reminds me of some old Deadmau5 stuff,

Love it good job

DarkInRed responds:

Thanks man!

Reminds me of another track but I cant put my finger on it...

Anyways great song

Ya sounds like 20+ of my songs 2009 - 2012 hahah XD.
But im only recently bringing that style back.
Thanks for the review!

Completely forgot this even existed for some reason... Feel really stupid now, ANYWAYS on to the review I neglected to write.

Well, remember how I told you to find your own style to mix with X's stuff

THIS IS PERFECT!

Add this to your Orchestral stuff and I think this is perfect.

I will say that the style of Melodic and Heavy drops should be alternated for example one track should have the Melodic drop before the heavy drop.

I do stuff similar to this (yours in 1000 times better tho) and from what I've found with the right amount of mixing, the Orchestra and Electronic go really well together .

Another should have the same structure as this.

But I love that last drop a TON. At first I felt it was weird, but looking back almost a month later, Its Awesome. The first drop was good to, it took sound design from many of your older songs.

On an unrelated note, you really should try DnB sometime, I would love that.

Great job. Just Great job...

Agente001Tomhson responds:

Thank ya! Maybe I'll do some DnB!

Riddim sucks (Sorry for being so harsh)

ChristianPlays responds:

lol it's all good. i hate this too

Melodic Dubstep...

Classic Derp

DerpcatOfficial responds:

smh

Beautiful work

I only have one complaint, the style of the song, if you wanna make something Xtrullorish, try incorporating a unique style into it. Derpcat does Melodic stuff, Talurre does Glitchy Stuff, I do Electroy stuff. I gave a few of your old IDM tracks a listen, you could combine that with your Orchestral stuff and I think you’ll be a legend.

Just my opinion tho, great work!!

Agente001Tomhson responds:

Thank you!
It is true that I still have to find my own style. Right now I still need to experiment and see what fits.

Aka: Executrix, Nightmare, and Codebreaker
I make music and mod for Star Wars Empire At War. Love anime too!
