I feel like some of the basses at the drop are a bit too quiet (Mainly the folly), but I'm not taking anything off since 90% of the time melodic deathstep stuff doesn't work but this definitely did!

Also... how the fuck are you able to make 6-8 minutes songs regularly? Mr. Chad...

GZAPPLE responds:

lol yeah, i struggle with making basses really loud. at some point i may just modulate volume knobs of everything to make the basses sound loud.
the song length literally depends if there is something interesting to make or explore due to the genre/style/mood/inspiration from the track.
Meander was made due to me being in a punk band for a few months and drew out some experience from the band into a track, while also being exposed to a lot of metal.
Andromeda is what happens when you listen to experimental music (alon mor) with dubstep (xtrullor/au5) with melodic dubstep (different heaven - my heart) with neurofunk (righten, clockvice, frequent, koan sound)
Divergent/Divulgent Dimension is another combination between melodic dubstep (au5/talurre/xtrullor) with deathstep (minatory/tearout), colorbass, experimental music (audeka/alon mor/zy - the elysian fragments), orchestral (two steps from hell/ivan torrent).

Can we throw some Japanese vocals on this? Just for educational purposes?

GZAPPLE responds:

hentai moans

Deathstep ain't really my thing, but this is still really good.

My only complaint is it might be a bit too loud... like I actually had to turn my volume down at the drop because I hadn't expected it to be at that volume level. It's nowhere near ear rape, but it still scared the shit outta me

But that may also just be how Deathstep is XD

Good work man

GZAPPLE responds:

lmao yeah, track peaks at -6 lufs so yes its loud

The boy's have collabed!

iammodus responds:

yessirrrrr

Interesting, I do think it could've had some heavier drums. But this is still amazing, the DnB part is fucking nuts!

Nice job, we will watch you career with great interest ;0

Razorrekker responds:

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yoo this is pretty sick

The Orchestration is awesome and the drop bass is filthy AF. Overall good job, but there is one problem that takes away that 1 and a half star. After the drop, the songs seems so to get really weird structure wise. Towards the end of the song, I was expecting another massive drop, but it never came. That buildup would've been perfect for a drop to make me blow the fuck away, but it was disappointing. It's also really weird hearing Orchestral Dubstep without Au5 phaser bases to me (That is what I'm used to hearing from my own tracks and other tracks lol).

Also, the snare's need to be heavier. I'm used to using and hearing Teminite-like snares (He uses very heavy snares XD)

Good job, we will watch you career with great interest lol...

HJfod responds:

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, I love to see it when people make thorough reviews :) I haven't done much orchestral after this one, though there's one track I've been working that has more phased bass in the drops (orchestral without phaser bass is really weird, I know) I'll be sure to take this into account when I get back into OD though :D

Makes Drumstep with a Future Bass snare...

Logic level = 100%

Demonicity responds:

lmao i break rules because im so punk lol

I'm down with this, I do have one complaint.

The First drop lead (What Sapphire Snake was talking about) is raised to high, when you do that it creates a fuck ton of unbearable freqs that are not pleasant to the ear. There are two ways to solve this, one, lower it an octave, or two, EQ those things out. Honestly, looking at the description of the track, EQing can fix the problems those guys stated without fucking up the song. IDK how to explain this trick but literally every EDM YouTuber uses it in tutorials (It works best with Leads and Saws, hence why I'm suggesting you use it).

In Conclusion this song was far from perfect but REALLY far from shit, your getting there. You melody's do really impress me, as I can always see what you we're going for just by hearing the melody (Not to mention their catchy AF). Keep it up, AlieN (With a capital N at the end ofc)

AlienNinjaGD responds:

ayyy thanks so much dude!
about the lead, it actually has alot of eqing, im probably not cutting the right freqs

I just found a problem

I cant tell which part is yours and which part is Tal's...

DerpcatOfficial responds:

the orchestral DnB part is his, the rest is mine haha

TeslaX11 responds:

that's why it's just ft. and not collab

The mixing could be a bit better, some of the highs are bit to harsh on the ear. Their's an EQing method where you can scan for bad frequency's (Look it up because I cant explain it very well lol) and it works even if you don't have headphones. I dig the sound design though. It reminded me a lot of F-777's 2015 stuff (I think that's the year).

Anyways, this is overall very good (It may be a bit repetitive), I hope to see more from you soon.

SUNSCREECH responds:

thanks for your feedback!

yeah i still have quite the amount of stuff to learn about balancing, that's my weakest point so far i would say

Aka: Executrix, Nightmare, and Codebreaker
